We are friends from around the world.
We are honored to have the opportunity to learn and communicate with wonderful students and their teachers from Taiwan. Below are the highlights of our communications. There are many hours of planning, teaching, and learning between the teachers and their students. We hope you can appreciate the time it takes to present these to you and we hope you enjoy the projects we share.

August 29, 2002 – We received correspondence from Taiwan regarding team teaching. Taiwan educators have created a web-page for all teachers who want to share the love of learning. Our team teaching web page is called TTeam & Actions.
May 8, 2002 - We received this letter from Mr. Shiu and Ms. Ko about the Chinese Taipei National Team, winners of the 2001 XXXIV Baseball World Cup, and Moving Dog.
February 22, 2002 - We received an email from Mr. Shiu requesting information about our class. Click here to read his email. We are learning math skills along with the Taiwan students. (Taiwan measures using the metric system.) Here is a handy conversion utility. Isn’t learning a lot of fun?
February 20, 2002 - Ms. Ko sent us this email and pictures of the Lantern Festival which is held on January 15th.
February 12, 2002 - Gifts from the United States to our Taiwan friends.
January 22, 2002 - We received a gift from Taiwan and the abbess who's name is "Zheng Yan."
December 20, 2001 - We have a NEW friend! It is a pleasure to meet you Ms. Min, and welcome to the privileged profession of teaching. It is our honor to have your friendship.
December 20, 2001 - Our friends graciously received our gifts from America.
November 26, 2001 - Our friends sent us two videos of their class play, A Boat in the Tai Lake, and Jasmine.
November 20, 2001 - Congratulations to the USA World Cup Baseball Team!
November 11, 2001 - Our students from Brooks Elementary sent Christmas gifts to Taiwan.
