Mrs. Tina's Newsletter
Celebrating a Freedom Students are the BEST! It's been a great school year and I've enjoyed working with you and your child. I have made some wonderful friends and I truly appreciate all of your support! Have a wonderful summer and PLEASE stay in touch! Reading experts note that most young readers suffer a backslide in reading during summer downtime. But, that needn't be the case! Families can make reading a priority during the summer months and children will learn that people never take a vacation from learning. Visit our local library and get your child their very own library card so they can continue reading this summer! A Special Thank You This year was EXTRA special because of the wonderful parent volunteers who gave of themselves weekly to help support our Freedom students...I couldn't have done it without them! Thanks to Melissa Davenport and Jennifer Toll! I REALLY appreciate you and your friendship! |
Last Newsletter - This will be our last newsletter for this school year, but if you need me for any reason please don't hesitate to contact me through your child's Day Planner or by telephone. Field Day - Mark your calendar for May 25th! Spring Fling - Friday, May 28th is our annual PTA sponsored Spring Fling! It's a fun day filled with lots of inflated jumps and slides. Finally, all the hard work pays off for our students as they are rewarded for working hard and finishing their jobs for the school year. The Spring Fling has become one of the students most favorite days...it's right up there with Field Day and the Relay for Life events. Last Day of School - Our last day of school for students is June 1, 2010. Report cards and awards will be given at the end of the school day as requested by Mrs. Minogue. We will celebrate a wonderful school year by having a pizza party! |
